January 1, 2011 Commission Covering A Wall

Elsewhere (from here) in the great mitten-shaped state of Michigan, one of the Cerebite brethren has commissioned a wall-sized montage of drawings commemorating "Church & State." Here's a first view of not-all of it.

I don't know which is my fave: the triumphant Posey or the super close up of Thrunk with napping Cerebus in front.

Look for my reply in your e-mail. I probably will not do a public review of this commission.

Some vaguely interesting compositions here but more proof that tracing photos may have serious consequences:
Dave seems to be suffering from Shrunken Head Syndrome; Sophia’s head is absurdly small and Julius’ also, with a degree of over-large hands.

By the way, Posey's halo includes elements quite similar to the sun symbol of the Zia Pueblo in New Mexico.
