I have to admit, this is a case where seeing the finished piece, only, was not enough to motivate owning this one. My interest in the Savage Dragon is 0.00 (and a few more billion zeroes). What put this one over the bar (and certainly for $185) was the CerebusTV episode, watching the process and telling the story - including the whole "holding the paintbrushes in the Erik Larsen style." I had $250 on it... and that proved to be enough.

Incredible. Congrats! May the song never leave your head, as it has haunted mine for the past week.
On the "Sermon on the Chimney" auction eBay page, I assume you're the "Michigan art collector" Dave is doing the big-ass commission for?
I like the Sermon of the Chimney" piece... but I expect other$ will like it more. In many respects, the composition on the original cover to #67 is really superior.
The big-ass commission is not me, so I admit to EXCEPTIONAL curiosity about (a) what it is, (b) who it is, and (c) if we will ever see it. If it was me, I'd have been bleeding out the ideas. I'm a lot more interested in WWC, actually.
(yawn)...wake me when he get some moe WWC...
the drought of no new Ger is wayyyyyyy to long.
