Thanks for tuning in to 23 days of prelims on issue #13. I think there are some quite interesting differences between the prelim version and the final version that give a little bit of insight into the creative process (that would be PROcess, with a long "o" sound, Canadian, that is). I presume that one day we'll hear the analysis from Dave himself, if Cerebus Archives is still around (which, ever since I cannot just check it off on my Capital City Comics order, is unordered, figuring to wait for a few issues to accumulate before ordering).

Was this some massive Heritage purchase or things you’ve accumulated over the years?
Yeah, might be interested to get more ‘notebook’ type comments (or whatever the pages in the floppy reprints were called), but I’ve given up on CA as Dave has now contaminated that title with tracing on the cover.
Oh well
There is this guy, see? Let's call him the Golden Goose. He ended up with lots of stuff, way back in the day, from Dave, to potentially do interesting things with (newsletters, etc); this was really early on. He did not end up doing much with it, and as far as I can tell, he ended up keeping it all. I'm being really neutral here because I really do not know anything, just filling in half a story I once heard. So, every now and then, the Golden Goose pulls an egg from the Golden Goose egg carton and makes it available. I got that original Cerebus style sheet from the Golden Goose, for instance. Well, this full set of prelims have been in the Golden Goose's egg carton for about 30 years, and he contacted me when he decided it was time to try to sell them.
