The winner... and still champeeeeen: Ger (Raaaaaahhhhh... and the crowd goes wild). ME has posted these babies in his area at www.comicartfans.com.
The one with Cerebus behind the bar follows the tradition I dreamed up with a giant convention sketch of Cerebus that I picked up: commissioning Ger to retrofit a background to it. What is difficult to imagine is just how huge this thing is (22x44 inches... see the original piece, and it not fitting on Ger's drawing board). The same strategy was used with the Rabbi piece.

Very neat to see the piece before -- large, but flat. The subsequent addition of the background really brings it to life. This is basically life size 'Butz, straight from Guys!!
Heh, I love that shot of Ger's throne.
I think it just pops!
