Wow. Great picture of the Wall of T'si, umm, ahh, yeah, the Great wall of China! And the one of the Panda snoozing in the tree is too cute. And Starbucks in China? Seesh!
I started working in China in 2001, and there have been Starbucks there since at least then. In fact, I visited three times the one that used to be in the Forbidden City before it was pressured out.
Perhaps it is not obvious (heh), but that bottle of snakes is not a biological sample... it is snake wine. Not wine, actually, just snakes steeped in alcohol.
