Thanks to Lord Julius Goat, in the comments section from yesterday's entry, for pointing out that we were talking about installing a bloody-huge statue of Noah... on a nearly Divine scale... in the middle of one of the most Muslim countries on the planet.
And yes, the artist's plan is to have a lift inside the thing so you can walk out into Noah's hand.
I pretty much kicked myself ten ways to Sunday yesterday because I forgot my friggin' camera when I went to his place. I am going to ask my hosts to take me back there tomorrow because I have permission to take pictures at the workshop.
I cannae wait to show you.

Awesome pictures man, That thing is going to be something else. Asia is kicking America's ass big time right now in terms of large scale art and architecture. Big sign of a changing world economy.
