Here is something cool: you can overcome blocked web sites by entering URLs into anonymouse.org; check it out, even if nothing is blocked from view. So now I can see the blog... although I still cannot read the comments, which is quite frustrating.
You might have missed it, but there is a ComicLink auction going on, and there is a pretty sweet page from issue #1, and the original cover to issue #88. Last I looked, my high bid of $3300 had been topped. I'm out of it. I had thought it might be cool to have the original to go with the recreation I bought a while back, but I can think of better uses to which to put $3500 toward. Good luck if you're in on that one. Here the original that is up for auction, followed by the Memorex version.

Something kinda fishy about that page going that high and having that may bidders. Nice page and all but not really a $550+ page.
Hi - long time lurker, (almost) first time poster. A collector has been very aggressively pursuing pieces (and not Alchemist), purchasing the cover to #73 and Amazing Heroes #157, amongst others.
The #88 cover was sold for $5K (although I don't know to whom and can only surmise).
Perhaps this is what (or whom!) is impacting the pricing on this #147 page on the 'Bay?
Hi Ghost. Welcome. You may assume that the aggressive collector scored that cover. I checked with him right away. I stopped at $3400, which means someone else was willing to go $4900 before getting topped.
