This is sort of the beta-test for the page recreation commissions I am having done, I guess. According to Ger, they had this page sitting in front of them at a convention and started filling it in and coloring it in order to pass the time. I don't know of any other original pages that have been modified in this way - but we'd all be interested in case there was.
I scanned the page from Church and State I (p 259) so's you can compare:

That’s really nice. Makes one wonder how dynamic a colour Cerebus (the series) would have been. Gerhard really does a great job in this area too…
Agreed. Believe me, now that I have 10% of Issue #29 being recreated in the 2006 full-color form, it is a terribly tempting thing, isn't it, to at least think of them re-doing selected full issues in this way?
If I actually had unlimited funds, I would definitely consider commissioning all of Issue #29, for instance.
Maybe El Darro would consider unwriting a re-do of Issue #1 in this style. Hmmm... I'm gonna shoot that boy an email, right now.
